If you've read any of the ideas of Gurdjieff or Ouspensky and feel that they give you the urge to experiment with living more consciously ... I would urge you to find a genuine group to practice with.
And in the Work, 'genuine' means that the teacher has a direct lineage that can be traced to Gurdjieff. William Patrick Patterson was for many years a student of Lord John Pentland, the man Gurdjieff appointed to lead the Work in America.
Mr. Patterson will lead a seminar on the theme "Self-Knowledge & Being in the Technological World-Time" in Santa Barbara December 3-6.
